Should You Have a Marquee?

A summer wedding is perfect for using a marquee to host your wedding reception. But the options about size & style can be confusing. A marquee is a popular choice as it provides flexibility in terms of the size of reception you can hold & where you can hold it. Here is a guide to hiring a marquee & the kind of expense you can expect.

* Locate person leading the prayer and inform them on how to use the microphoneAfter Dinner Mingling* Bring up any last minute questions to client* Invite others to join if requested by client* Get the catchers name from groom, congratulate them, hold for photo opportunity & Glam Cam shotCocktail Hour* Verify that the photographer and videographer are ready to capture the memories* Double check with photographer on their preference for the toss & if they like to do a fake count* Accommodate last minute changes to entrance (parents/flower girls)* Take Glam Cam shots during the dances

If you fancy something a little different, look at hiring something more unusual. Indian style canopies or medieval style tents are two options you could consider. If your budget is tight or space is limited, think about hiring a gazebo instead, these are smaller than a marquee & offer the perfect solutionfor an intimate gathering without a sit-down meal.
