Ranch offers perfect scenery, proper tunes


A Hollywood Western couldn't have crafted the scene better: a dry lake bed, cottonwood trees, a bonfire, and a wooden bandstand and dance floor, lit only by stars and chandeliers crafted from clear Mason jars.


HRC Utah Steering Committee member Melisa Stratton plans to lobby Utah representatives in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday for Veterans Lobby Day. Hundreds of former U.S. soldiers will ask Congress to repeal the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
